Sausio 29 d., Remiantis vieningu Budapešto Generalinės asamblėjos sprendimu, Kőbánya (10-asis Budapešto rajonas) Gyógyszergyári gatvė buvo pervadinta ir nuo šiol atiduoda duoklę mūsų mylimam buvusiam generaliniam direktoriui Istvánui Orbánui.

Sausio 29 d., Remiantis vieningu Budapešto Generalinės asamblėjos sprendimu, Kőbánya (10-asis Budapešto rajonas) Gyógyszergyári gatvė buvo pervadinta ir nuo šiol atiduoda duoklę mūsų mylimam buvusiam generaliniam direktoriui Istvánui Orbánui.

István Orbán was the CEO of the company between 1982 and 2006. Under his leadership, Egis became a significant player of the Hungarian and Eastern European pharmaceutical industry. The Doctor, as we, Egis employees used to call him, started his career at our headquarters, located in the heart of Kőbánya, as a chemical engineer. Thanks to his professional and personal qualities, strategic thinking, and people-oriented mindset, as well as his loyalty to Egis, it didn’t take long for him to stand out and begin his flourishing career. He was the CEO of Egis for 24 years.
