To support the CSR activities of local companies, the Hungarian Business Responsibility founded its special awards, called CSR Hungary. This year, Egis was awarded in the ‘Inner CSR Solutions’ category that comes with a two-year trademark right.

Egis and our consortia partners have won 2,332 billion HUF direct grant in the framework of the innovation tender GINOP-2.2.1-15-2016-00023 for the realisation of the above-mentioned project.
Egis has developed a new procedure for the dehalogenation of technological wastewaters. In 2018, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hungary recognized the innovation with the Gran Prize Interdisciplinary Innovative award.
It is important for us to protect the future of our planet, therefore we try to reduce our ecological footprint. Egis uses more and more electric cars in its fleet in order to minimize the harmful substance output.
In close cooperation with our employees, we're currently working on redesigning our protective clothing. Though the project is still in progress, our collaboration was already acknowledged: we were awarded the Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Award, so we can move on to the next round organized for EU countries.

A Hungarian wildlife photographer, Bence Máté intends to shake up the public in order to protect nature. His spectacular nature photo exhibition series - organized in Budapest, then at the main square of another seven provincial towns – was opened by János Áder on 13 March. The outstanding project was supported by Egis.
